Crunchy, organic, surprisingly groovy - that's how I'd describe Ty Tabor's latest solo album "Rock Garden". When Tabor isn't busy working with King's X, Platypus, Jughead or The Jelly Jam, he has time for his solo career. This time 'round Tabor has come up with a fairly traditional rock record that has strange appeal to it. The quality of songs is steady, and while most songs aren't too memorable, time passes surprisingly quickly while listening to Rock Garden. All in all, Rock Garden is a well-produced rock record that's nice to listen to (even in the long-run).
