Polish progressive rock scene seems to be alive and well - following the discovery of Riverside, The Laser's Edge has found another spectacular group... namely Indukti. This band consists of five classically trained members, who perform enchanting music that is occasionally complemented by the charismatic voice of Mariusz Duda (the vocalist of Riverside) and Anna Faber's lush harp sections. Oh yes, this group is certainly not to be missed.

S.U.S.A.R. is full of intricate yet well-arranged compositions. Especially fans of King Crimson and Tool will find the music of Indukti felicitous. The music is enthralling, and despite of the long songs this album remains intriguing at all times.

To retain the energy and spontaneity of their live performances, Indukti chose to record all the instruments simultaneously (with the exception of adding some instruments and effects later on). Actually this has definitely had a favourable effect on the integrity of the recorded material. The production has been handled fairly well, although there's still some room for improvement.

Well, what are you waiting for? Go ahead, and click the following link to read more about this new phenomenal group (and while you're at it, place your order for the album).
