In case you're wondering what City Weezle is, it's a new project of Simon Fleury. Still doesn't ring a bell? Those who are fortunate enough to already be familiar with Fleury's previous works probably know what to expect - a versatile tour-de-force recording. Once again Fleury joins forces with the French guitarist Cloux, who's actually the perfect choice for a music of this kind (groovy fusion of metal and funk).

This record is quite a diverse entity, which makes is especially appealing to musicians. At least I enjoyed thoroughly listening to it... nonetheless, one favorite song arose above the others. Storm is definitely the highlight of this EP, and I can't wait to hear the whole album if it emerges one day. Nonetheless, other tracks are also good.

The production of this recording is rather well-handled... the sounds are balanced and a pleasure to listen to. Support the underground scene and creativity now by giving City Weezle a change - they really deserve it.
