The second album of Airless, a Spanish AOR band, is aptly titled as "2nd Round" (the band changed label, which turns over a new leaf in the band's history). Unfortunately, the music they play is slightly unimaginative... Airless hasn't tried to modernize their music in any way, instead they rely on what's tried and tested. Although some of the songs are rather good, and there are few moments that stand out, it doesn't change the fact that all this has been heard before. Hopefully, Airless will continue to search their own sound and incorporate some imaginative elements into their songs in the future.

Production on this album is ok... the sounds could be better but on average they suit the music quite well. However, the soundscape is rather dry, and the feel for room seems to be missing. Perhaps some listeners of 80's hard rock and AOR may find Airless worth checking out. However, there are quite a few better AOR acts on the scene at the moment that I recommend over Airless.
