The Italian Revial isn't your average rock band... instead, they strive for original delivery by incorporating elements from electro and psychedelic music into their mixture of rock & pop. Despite of being formed in 1995, the band yet hasn't signed a record deal.

Music Revial plays is groovy rock with vocal lines reminding me of some American mainstream bands. Every now and then the band even blends some surprising elements into their songs, which ensures the listening experience remains intriguing throughout the whole record - at the same time, the re-listening value of this CD is rather good. Musically Revial has all the facilities necessary to succeed, they only seem to lack the contract with a label.

Unfortunately the production on this record isn't of the same quality as is the songwriting. Nonetheless, the recordings are clean and there aren't any grave defects in the mix. The sounds just could have more edge and bite (not to mention the drums could have been mixed better...) Overall, Revial has come up with a promising promo EP, which hopefully manages to attain interest towards the band.
