Twilightning is a young Finnish power metal band and I have to admit that I hadn't heard their playing before this album. However, I was rather surprised by this album's quality. Although there is plenty of power metal bands here in Europe nowadays and Twilightning doesn't offer anything new to the genre, this album offers quality power metal in a balanced package.

There aren't any highlights as all songs are rather good power metal songs. The band's guitarists have made all of them (Wille-W has made 7 and Thief Sartanen 3 of the songs). The album is well mixed and mastered and the overall production quality is top-notch.

I liked this album a lot more than the latest Sonata Arctica's album. Thus, if you're into guitar-driven power metal, Twilightning's Plague-House Puppet Show might be a record worth noticing.
