Srdjan Brankovic's vision finally sees the light of the day as his ambitious debut project "Expedition : delta" is released by ProgRock Records. It's evident this record is a labour of love, as the time put into this album shows from the ingeniously constructed songs. Musically this record is a mixture of progressive and symphonic rock coupled with AOR overtones.

Reading the credits on the booklet surely will astound even the experienced progrock fan, since there are guests from such groups as Shadow Gallery, Within Temptation, Lana Lane, Silent Force, Time Requiem, Labyrinth, After Forever and Edenbridge just to name some. The album builds up track by track while painting a pleasant imagery consisting of intriguing yet catchy melodies and profound musicianship. Production-wise the album is also rather good, though it isn't entirely free from shortcomings. All in all, Expedition delta is a truly enjoyable album, which I would recommend to all progressive rock fans... so close your eyes and enjoy the vivid, adventurous sonic journey that expedition delta offers.
